Physical Machine Image

Hi ,

I am new to vmware . I wanted to create a Image of of a physical machine running linux . I came across vmware converter . I installed the converter but when i try to create an image it wont do it . wizard asks me for a destination machine a ESX server or vCenter server .

I just want to create an image rather than create a VM .
