Linux RHEL - Error: Unable to find supported boot loader or boot loader configuration file.

Hi,

I am trying to convert a Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux and getting this error:

I was able to login as another user besides root and allow nopassword for sudo.

I check GRUB is installed via

file -s /dev/sda

and

dd bs=512 count=1 if=/dev/sda 2>/dev/null| strings

Check if GRUB is installed | It's all bullshit

I see someone else have the same question but the answer didn't work at Unable to find supported boot loader
