P2V using vmware converter boot CD in vcenter server 4.1 as the destination

Hello all,
I am trying to do P2V conversion of W2k3 sp2  in to vCenter server 4.1 as the destination with Cluster of ESX 4.1 Hosts, using VMware converter 4.1 Boot CD option as a Cold cloning by booting the Server with .ISO image. I have gone through all the conversion steps and the conversion process begins and stops @ 2 % as attached in the screenshots. I have tried this P2V conversion nearly 5 times and it stops at the same step. I have looked at most of the articles online to troubleshoot this error and dealt with DNS issues, Defragmentation, chkdsk /f and disabling hibernation and all looks fine.  But it ends up with the above mentioned error. I need this to be acheived asap. I am attaching vmware converter logs here for further troubleshooting.

So far, i have been through different blogs on vmware and other sites and tried suggestions, but none of them resolved.

this is some more info, i thought of providing and would be useful in resolving towards this.

its almost the same what i have been doing so far, except that i am entering the network details at the initial start wizard as its a static IP address assigned for the server. As i have read that it wont proceed wth out entering those details as its not DHCP assigned IP address for the physical server.

Till now, i have been choosing vcenter > then ESX server, i am not sure if i can directly enter ESX IP address, but vil try and let you know asap.

These are part of the vmware converter agent logs which i already posted above:
I feel something is not working and is mentioned in the logs here, but i am unable to get to the right point of resolving it. Please help me in this.
